Commonly known as a member of the ‘wax plant’ family, this slow-growing succulent plant was discovered in Australia in the 1700s. With its smaller, luscious, green and cream variegated leaves, the vining Hoya Australis ‘Lisa’ will bring a tropical feel into your space!
Being that it’s from a tropical environment, it thrives in moderate humidity, warm temperatures, drier soil, indirect bright light and can vine/climb up to 4 – 5 ft. indoors. This makes them great to pot in a hanging basket and place in a brightly lit space! Over time this plant may get a bit leggy, but don’t be alarmed, this is just a natural occurrence in the plant’s life cycle and if you prune right above the last node, it will encourage new, more compact, growth of leaves.
